At Monivae we provide a friendly, safe residence that provides for students' academic, spiritual, physical and cultural needs. Boarding staff at Monivae aim to support families, not replace them.
Boarding provides many opportunities for students, from the educational benefits of structured supervised study times and use of resources to extra curricular activities such a dance, sport and music.
The aim of Boarding at Monivae is to provide opportunities to those that are unable to receive the same at home. This could be in the form of wider academic opportunities, structured study programs or to meet an individuals specialised schooling needs. We cherish the individual and celebrate the community nature that allows a student to feel comfortable and safe.
Students who board at Monivae get to experience living with people from different cultures and people from a wide variety of backgrounds, this helps to develop their independence, self confidence and tolerance of others. Boarding offers a whole education that encourages students to recognise and reach their own unique potential.
