EXCEL (Expanded Course of Enhanced Learning)
Under the care of the Junior School Coordinator and a team of home-room teachers, the unique Year 7 EXCEL Program provides a smooth transition from primary school and a secure foundation for introduction to the more specialised curriculum in a secondary school. The Program effectively combines the teaching and learning strategies of two skilled teachers across the subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and Information Technology. The program is delivered in specially designed classrooms to enhance the entire transition process and provides opportunity for the development of a strong understanding between each student and his or her homeroom teacher.
