Open Mornings/Evening
Monivae College holds Open Mornings/Evening as an introduction to the school. These provide prospective students and their parents the opportunity to visit the College, meet staff and tour the facilities. The Open MorningsEvening for 2012 will be held on:

Wednesday, 22 February 2012 at 9:15am
Sunday, 26 February 2012 at 11:00am

Student ushers give personalised guided tours of the college. The students are chosen for this task as they give an honest and true account of their experience at the college.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to these Open Mornings. It gives your child the chance to have a look at the college and gain a feel for where they may go to school.
For parents looking at Year 7, the tour includes a visit to the EXCEL (Year 7) classes.
For parents looking at boarding for their children the boarding houses are also included in the tour and are personally guided by the Director of Boarding.
The Open Mornings finish with a morning tea where parents are able to informally meet with the Principal, the Director of Studies, Director of Boarding and, where teaching schedules allow, the Year Level Coordinators.
Information Nights
Choosing a school can be a very difficult task. To assist parents who live in outlying regions, Monivae College holds a number of Information Evenings throughout the Western District of Victoria and South-East of South Australia. These informal information evenings enables prospective parents an opportunity to learn more about the College, gain a deeper understanding of the curricular and co-curricular activities on offer and to ask any questions concerning their child's education.
These information evenings are attended by the Principal, the Director of Boarding and senior members of staff and in some cases current or past parents and students. The dates for 2012 have not yet been set.
