Monivae Uniform
Monivae College is proud of its students, and overall our students present a positive image in the community through the wearing of the correct school uniform. 
Monivae College has approved a new Summer Dress and new Sport/PE polo shirt. All new students for 2012 are expected to wear the new uniform. The new dress was chosen after considerable consultation with the students themselves, parents, staff and suppliers. The hardier fabric and new pattern will better resist wear and tear and the new cut and pattern of the dress is more modern.
The new PE/Sport Polo is comes with a different side panel color for each House. Pictured right is the Ffrench House top with the red side panel. Students will wear the
color related to their House. Ffrench - Red, Glenelg - Green, Lonsdale - Blue and Mitchell - Yellow. There will be a lengthy transition period for current students so that the new uniforms can be phased in as older uniform is replaced. Both the Summer Dress and PE/Sport Polo are available from Accurate Clothing, Gray Street Hamilton. Pictured at the bottom right are the new (top) and old (bottom) style fabrics.
Second Hand Clothing Shop
Monivae College has a second hand clothing shop that is operated by the Monivae Parents and Friends. It contains quality second hand uniform items.
The uniform shop will next be open on Thursday the 2nd of February 2012.
When uniforms are bought in to be sold, they must have a tag, showing the name of the person who is selling the uniform and the sale price (if possible, otherwise coordinator will determine the price). Uniform must be in a condition to sell, otherwise we cannot accept it. If the item of uniform is not sold after two years and is unclaimed then ownership will revert to the College.
All uniforms are to be taken to the clothing pool directly during operating times or delivered to Reception at other times.
